There is often confusion around what exactly web design and development are and that they’re two separate roles. Find out why in this video! Please remember to subscribe http://bit.ly/1aE5UOT
Not all web designers know how to build the sites they design, and not all web developers know how to design sites well in order to build them; and that’s okay! While some people are able to do both, they are different skillsets, and each is a perfectly valid and important role on its own. I hope this video helps to demystify the difference between them, and explains why it’s okay to focus only on one.

// ENJOY MY VIDEOS?
My videos no longer have pre-roll ads because I think ads are annoying. That means you don’t have to sit through ads, and it also means I don’t earn anything from the content I put on YouTube. If you want to support me and my channel the best thing you can do is order something from my online store! I make t-shirts and printed products and you’re bound to find something you like 🙂

I love New York City. It’s a great area and very comfortable for filming a lot of stuff in the same place every day. But it’s so crowded and overwhelming, so four weeks in New York is enough to get a little exhausted.
That’s why for 4 days before returning to Russia at the 2nd of May, 2017, I go to Charlotte, NC to get some rest. I go there because at the moment there Rinat Kutluakhmetov, a cameraman for many videos of “Real Russia” now visiting with his family.

Wireframing is the first stage of the web design process, and in this video I show you how I do it and give you some advice! Please remember to subscribe http://bit.ly/1aE5UOT
If you’ve ever wondered how to wireframe a website, or if you want to know how to design a website and you’ve never heard of wireframing, this video is dedicated to you! Yes, you. Wireframing is the process of laying out the bones or the structure of a website to think about how the information will be organised on the page before you start thinking about colours and fonts and other visual things. Using the wireframe process I teach you in this video you’ll be able to generate lots of ideas for different ways to arrange your website and be able to decide on the best one from there.
I hope you enjoy the video! Please make sure you give it a thumbs up if you do. I’m still learning how to make tutorials MY way (not just screen casts) so any feedback is much appreciated. I ant these videos to feel like we’re sitting in a room together and I’m showing you what to do, rather than you just looking at my screen as I do something. Does that make sense?
If there’s something design-related you’re struggling with that you’d like a tutorial on next, let me know!
